MyProtein’s Protein Pancake Mix is a ready-to-make protein pancake powder packet (tongue twister or what!). It contains 34g of protein per serving, and it makes perfect pancakes. Plus It’s a quick and easy way to increase your protein intake.
This protein pancake mix contains 3 different types of protein:

- and milk
Ingredients that can help build and maintain lean muscle mass.
But you don’t have to be a bodybuilder to try these. You can fit these protein pancakes in to any diet plan. Losing weight? Gaining weight? don’t really care about weight? It really doesn’t matter – food is food and these taste great! I make these beauties every Sunday morning, diet or no diet.
One observation I’ve made about Myprotein?
They host a wide range of different flavours for most of their products, however, the protein pancakes seem to miss out on this. The only flavours stocked by MyProtein are Golden syrup, chocolate and unflavoured.
But don’t let that deter you!

Benefits of Myprotein Pancake Mix
This pancake mix is quick and convenient to use. If you’re looking for a healthy nutritious snack to fit within your macros, look no further. Being high in protein, they’re perfect for a post-workout snack, breakfast or even pudding. And, due to the lack of carbohydrates, if you’re following the Keto or LCHF diets these are perfect.
You don’t need many ingredients.
- Water or milk
- Cooking oil (I usually use coconut oil)
So, they’re great for keeping the costs down.
Some reviews (check them out here) have said these pancakes can be a bit bland if you’re eating them plain. Why not benefit from adding some flavdrops to the mix before cooking? Or as well as the flavdrops, you can also top it with Myproteins sugar-free syrups, or my particular favourite topping? Myproteins crunchy peanut butter.
They way that Myprotein suggests you make your pancakes by:
- mixing 2 big scoops (50g) with 100-150ml milk or water, in a blender bottle.
- heating a frying pan over a high heat and adding a small amount of oil/butter
- reduce to a medium heat adding the mixture and frying till lightly coloured.
It’s very basic, quick and easy, however, these can be a bit bland.

These are slightly higher in calories and carbs, due to the addition of bananas and oats, both highly nutritious ingredients.
