jenious Hello, friends. How are you this fine weekend? THE weekend before THE holiday that revolves around cooking and eating.
The Bartender and I will be at The Bitter End on Thanksgiving. This is our plan:

If you are in the area, please stop by for a bevy before your familial goings on. The bloody mary mix PerryA and I developed will take the edge off. We’ll get your holiday off to the perfect start.
I also want to share some recipe inspiration—if you’re in the market for that sorta thing. I was looking through my “old” recipes and plucked some faves from each section. Some are for the day of and others suggest what to do with all that remains.

sip: sweet & spicy apple cider
nosh: haricots verts with california plum & leek dip & smoked bluefish pâté
sweets: larry’s rocking cheesecake & potato chip cookies
turkey revival: the day after thanksgiving soup & turkey frittata
