mango madness cocktail

I’m in the mood for some tea, so I push aside my teacup, whip out my shaker, and pull up a glass. Yes, it’s happy hour for the tea drinker.

Mighty Leaf’s AperiTea is a premium tea-infused mixer for cocktails and beverages. Three different mixers keep it interesting  and inspiring – Orange Jasmine Mango, Green Tea Tropical and Chamomile Citrus Berry. They appear to have all tea drinkers’ tastes in mind.

I’ve decided to try all three in homespun cocktail recipes---purely for research purposes. I’ll offer a recipe each Friday over this week and the two following. I think today, I’ll start with the black tea based Orange Jasmine Mango, flavored with orange, vanilla, bergamot and jasmine blossom. A little caffeine should help motivate going out vibes.

Mango Madness Cocktail
(1 serving)

1 shot Mighty Leaf's Orange Jasmine Mango AperiTea
2 shots Malibu Mango Flavor Caribbean Rum
4 shots Newman's Own Orange Mango Tango
1 slice of orange

Add ice to a shaker. Pour all ingredients into the shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for about a minute. Pour all into a pint glass. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Sweet! I had no idea Mighty Tea Leaf was bottling teas now! What a great idea to make a cocktail out of it.

Brilliant as always Jen!

Oh wow! I need to find these. Those combos some amazing! One of my favourite cocktails is an earl gray martini, so I can just imagine how great these tea infused mixers could be.

Hi Marc, The mixers are tasty and adapt to the additional flavors of the other ingredients as well. That martini sounds delish!
